The Legend of R.E.D. Chapter 1

Welcome to the first new story in quite a while! If you read my journal entry two days ago, this was supposed to go up on Friday while I was at school studying for a final. Well, that didn't happen because I stupidly selected the wrong date on the schedule feature. My fault, hopefully it doesn't happen again. To make up for it though, I actually extended the chapter a little bit today for you all.

This is a Storylocke of Pokemon FireRed with a focus more on the fantasy aspect of the Pokemon world and less on the Nuzlocke aspect of the story. That's not to say that the two main nuzlocke rules weren't followed! They were, but some liberties were taken the timing of plot points and whatnot. Additionally, the story is not entirely as linear as the game was. You'll see what I mean soon enough, but until then enjoy the first chapter!

(By the way, the intention for the pages was to make it feel like a paperback book, hence the smaller pages and margins, as well as page numbers and whatnot. It's more of an aesthetic choice than anything, I actually prefer reading it this way on Adobe Reader (using the two-page view) over a traditional "big block of text" that DeviantART tends force you into. I'm not sure how well the PDF will show on D.A., so apologies if it doesn't work as intended.)
